No 11 Pimlico Road

Feb 20th, 2016

Finding the fine balance of an all day eaterie and chic bistro is a rare accomplishment that No.11 Pimlico appears to have mastered. Located on Pimlico Road, the restaurant nonchalantly sets the bar high drawing in a discerning crowd with smells of homemade hollandaise and crispy bacon in the late mornings and gnocchi with fragrant lemon zest in the evening. In contrast to its red brick exterior and gastro pub neighbours, No.11’s giant arched windows, Scandinavian style sleek furniture and patterned chrome tiles make for a fresh contemporary feel whilst giving the area a bit of a facelift.

All day brunches on the weekend are as indulgent as they are refined– from breakfast sourdough bruschettas to oozing eggs Benedict (a bloody mary to accompany should be compulsory here). On Sundays, the slow roast rib of beef is a much welcome hero dish in the colder months but when the interior is as fresh looking as this, who knew it was even dismal outside?
